The Adams stone barn, built in 1885 near Sun River Montana, is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's massive 18 inch thick walls extend to 40 by 140 feet and reach 24 feet high, with graceful arched doors and windows. It was built by James Calvin Adams who supplied horses and beef for the nearby Fort Shaw.

J.C. Adams Stone Barn Company is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of this landmark barn.
